I Think I Can... I Think I Can...
After being advised to take some time off from P90X due to a blood clot scare, I am feeling much better today. I went to bed early and go lots of rest! Plus it's FRIDAY! Woot Woot! This has been an extremely long week, and not getting to exercise for 2 days really put a damper on things. I'm back on it today though! Hopefully I can continue to improve my health and maybe even improve my craptastic circulatory system! ;)

Today is the 25th day on my P90X Journey! Wow! I can jump, kick, punch, and move better than I ever thought possible! This is a battle that I am so glad I took head on. Ready for some butt kicking cardio this afternoon! :)

Superman Banana
Cardio X has Superman Banana Rolls too?!?!? Who would have thought.... I'm gonna be a pro at those things by the end of these 90 days! Maybe I won't cringe at the mere mention of them then either! :) I'm going the "lean" approach for these next 30 days... I needed a change of pace from the "classic" route.... This way will be a LOT more sweat, and I must say I am looking forward to it! BRING IT!

Today was the beginning of a new week! I am fueling my body with lots of protein and veggies and gearing up for the long haul! I had my first Core Synergistics workout this afternoon, and I must say it was different. Who ever heard of a Superman Banana Roll?!?!?! It was extreme... The X in P90X if you ask my opinion! Haha!! I cooked up some yummy stir fry for dinner and it was AWESOME! I'm so ready for tomorrow... Cardio X here I come!!

70 Days To Go!
After my workout this afternoon I will have completed 20 days of P90X... It's crazy how fast the time is flying! As I near the 30 day mark, I find myself feeling extra excited. I had lost the fire for a couple of days, but now I can feel it burning brighter than ever! I will push myself past the limits I thought I had, and I will conquer this goal I've set in place for myself... I'm ready to BRING IT for the next 70 days!!! :)

Even On My Weakest Days, I Get A Little Bit Stronger...
Today has been much better than yesterday! I of course had my morning Shakeology shake and it boost me right into energy mode! Thank goodness because I was feeling drained! For lunch I figured out the best thing EVER to help with the pizza craving I've been having for a couple of days. English Muffin Pizzas! Soooo yummy and low in calories, high in fiber... Mmmm... I cannot wait to get home and kick some Kenpo butt... Kenpo has become something I look forward to every week and if you've never tried it, you REALLY should! :)

Today I feel frustrated... I think the same ole same ole from day to day is catching up to me... I am not losing my focus or my determination, however! You can bend me but I won't break and that's a fact!! On a positive note, I can finally see some muscle definition in my triceps... Hot Damn! A big thanks to my shoulders and arm workout of the day!! YEAH!!!!!!

Whew!
I feel like I have fallen off the deep end from this weekend's wedding festivities! My body already does not like when I feed it bad foods! It literally makes me feel BLAH... So must be doing something right! Today I am back on my Shakeology and back on the hardcore p90 routine... It's just another manic Monday!
PS- I attempted to take a photo of my post Plyometrics workout to show just how sweaty it makes you, but the pic did not to it justice... Think I might have to start working out in gray clothes! Haha!! Bring It!!

Kenpo Is My Friend
Today was my second Kenpo workout. It's an ass kicking hour of karate like exercising that I am in LOVE with!! It makes you sweat, it makes you work, and it makes you feel AWESOME!! :) WAR EAGLE!!

Damn Tony! Are you trying to kill me with all the push ups and pull ups?!?! Whew! Second round of chest and back is DONE! I can see a huge difference in just a week with my performance.... 20 manly push ups! Boo Yeah!! Take that weak wrists of mine... ;) Today is the start of week 2 and I must say I could not be more excited... With this winter weather storm approaching my first thought was "how will I do p90x if the power goes out?!?!?"... LOL! I think I'm officially addicted!!

Today was the seventh day of this adventure.... WOW! Time sure is flying!! X Stretch really helped me work out some of the kinks I was feeling!! Much better!! I also figured the seventh day deserved a weigh in to check the progress of the program... It is not an understatement that P90X delivers results if you work for them! I am down 7.5lbs in a week!!! INCREDIBLE!! I feel amazing and cannot wait to continue changing!

Last night's shoulders&arms workout was almost relaxing (notice I said almost)! It was nice to work a part of me that was not already in pain! LOL... Today is a new day... I'm tired and I feel like I've been run over by a truck, but that will not stop me! I am determined and my head is on right for the first time in a while! BRING IT!

There Are Only Two Choices; Make Progress Or Make Excuses....
I can already feel my body changing (through the extreme soreness) and it's only been 3 days since I started this program. I have been working so hard and I have nothing but absolute faith that it will pay off in the end. I weighed myself this morning just out of curiosity and I am down 4.5lbs since Sunday! WOW!! That really makes me feel good about all the hard work! So far, I have conquered chest&back, plyometrics, ab ripper x, and this afternoon I will add shoulders&arms to the list! Shakeology is providing me with what I consider to be equivalent to a sugar rush and it has been WONDERFUL! I haven't had a coke since Sunday and I made my first ever soup from scratch last night. Yum! :)

Today is the start to the New Year and New Me! I cannot wait to get this journey underway. I have setup my meal plan for the week and braved the grocery store to get the necessary items!

Snack: String Cheese
Dinner: Grilled flank steak with instant brown rice
